Girona–Costa Brava is a small airport: one arrivals hall, one exit. I wait just outside it with a sign, and you will see me within seconds of walking out.

In Barcelona I collect from your address, your hotel, Sants station or BCN Airport. If you are connecting between the two airports, give me both flight numbers and I will build in the margin.

For Girona city itself I collect and drop anywhere in the centre, including the old town near the cathedral where the streets are narrow and mostly one-way.

The journey

It is roughly 103 km on the AP-7, a straightforward motorway run of about an hour and fifteen minutes. Traffic is rarely an issue outside the Barcelona ring roads at rush hour.

The reason people book this rather than the bus is timing. The Sagalés coach runs to a timetable tied to certain flights; if yours lands at 23:40 or leaves at 06:00, you can end up with a two-hour wait at either end. A taxi removes that entirely.

The price is the same at four in the morning as at four in the afternoon, and the tolls are included.
