Barcelona cruise port taxi: terminals, groups and luggage
Pick-ups and drop-offs at your own terminal on the Moll Adossat, booked in advance so you are not standing in the rank queue with a whole ship.

Finding your terminal
Several cruise terminals stand along more than a kilometre of the Moll Adossat, and the older ones at the World Trade Center are being phased out of cruise use. Give me the ship name and I will drive to the right building rather than the port gate.
On busy mornings the port occasionally restricts vehicle access to the quay. If that affects your date I will tell you the night before and we will use the World Trade Center meeting point instead.
Embarkation and disembarkation days
Boarding usually runs from late morning to mid-afternoon, and the approach road is at its worst between 10:00 and 13:00. Book early and I will build the extra time in.
Disembarkation is the reverse: several thousand people leave within the same two hours. A booked taxi waiting for you is worth considerably more than the small amount it saves in stress.
Between the port and the airport
The trip between the cruise terminals and BCN Airport has its own fixed price, agreed when you book, with the airport and port charges, the tolls and the luggage inside it. It is the same in both directions.
Trips between the port and the city are priced on the real distance, which matters here because Barceloneta and Pedralbes are nothing like the same journey.
Working out which terminal your ship uses
Cruise lines usually publish the berth two to four weeks before departure, and it appears on your e-ticket rather than in the brochure. The Moll Adossat terminals, each known by a letter, are spread along more than a kilometre of working quay, so the difference between them is a long walk with cases, not a short one.
If you do not have the terminal yet, send me the ship name and sailing date and I will look it up on the morning itself. The World Trade Center berths, closer to the Columbus monument, are being phased out of cruise use; if your documents name one, tell me and I will meet you there instead.
Questions and answers
How much is a taxi from the cruise port to the city centre?
From €40 for up to four passengers, with the luggage and the port charges included and the price fixed before you sail. The exact figure depends on your address, because the city starts five minutes from the terminals — put the hotel into the form and you see it before you book.
What happens if my ship is late?
The pick-up moves to the real docking time at no charge, and from then I wait thirty minutes free, because the order the ship lets people off in is not yours to control. Past that, waiting is charged at the official hourly rate, pro rata.
Can you take eight of us with cruise luggage?
Yes, in the eight-seat van. Seven passengers with seven large cases is comfortable; eight with eight is the limit. Tell me how many cases you are bringing and I will say plainly whether it fits.
Do taxis reach the cruise terminal buildings?
Yes, under normal conditions. On a few very busy mornings port access is restricted and we would meet at the World Trade Center point instead.
How much does the airport to cruise port taxi cost?
€56 for up to four passengers by day on a weekday, fixed when you book and the same in both directions, with the airport and port charges, the tolls and the luggage inside it. Nights, weekends and the larger vehicles cost more; the form shows your exact figure before you book.
Can you help with large cruise suitcases?
Yes. Four passengers with four large cases fit the saloon car; for more, set the passenger count and the minivan is selected automatically.
